Why subscribe?

Newsletters feel more like lectures than conversations these days. We’re lucky to have some brilliant professors, but I always learned more by working through ideas with friends in conversations after class. Late nights and heated debates. Arguing and agreeing. This is an experiment to try and recreate that experience.

How does it work?

  1. Each week I’ll share a few links for you to check out. I’ll aim for a mix of articles, tweets, videos, podcasts and products. Some from me, but mostly from others.

  2. If you have a reaction, share it. Reply to the email with a Twitter-sized Hot Take.

  3. Each issue, I’ll publish a few Hot Takes from the previous jam.

That’s the game.

No Hot Take this week? That’s fine, but participation is encouraged.

Find something cool or thought provoking? Send it along to add it to a future jam.

You will start receiving updates right here in your inbox. You can also log in to the website to read the full archives and other posts as they are published.

This is a conversation in email form, subscribe to submit ideas you want discussed in future jams and respond with your hot takes to content shared from the last jam.

Subscribers get full access to the newsletter and website. Never miss an update.
